We bought a dog from County Fair which turned out to have a disease that 3 separate vets agreed on. NOTE: this was diagnosed within 24 hours of us picking up the puppy. The breeder refused to believe it and, despite telling us she would pay for the vet bills in full, reneged. She refunded our money for the puppy. If you buy a puppy from her, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
I had one of the worst experiences of my life with CFL. Picking out pup, etc was fine, and she was an incredibly sweet dog.
However, our puppy got extremely sick 18 hours after we had her home. It required several emergency vet visits, including an overnight stay for pain control and extensive testing, all of which resulted in extensive bills WITHIN THE FIRST 2 DAYS of having this puppy. We were told by 3 vets (two of whom were specialists) that she almost certainly had an autoimmune joint problem (they had ruled out infection and other causes). Remember this problem arose with us on the first day we had her.
County Fair Labradoodles refused to believe the medical findings. She reimbursed us for the dog, and gave her word that she would reimburse our expenses IF her vet agreed, which of course her "vet" did not. Then, she said she would reimburse half of our costs, and the other half IF her (new) vet agreed after consulting with the local vet school. Then, the following day, she reneged again, and said she would only give us half, because basically that this was our fault...
I would absolutely NEVER recommend someone go to this place again. If you do, do so having been warned. I'm happy to discuss this more with anyone who is considering getting a dog here. I would not recommend this place.
I wrote a review earlier but see it has not been posted. My husband and I were so pleased with County Fair and the care the breeder provides for her puppies. We loved that the puppies were litter trained; made house breaking much easier. The homey environment was very clean and well organized. When we left with our 8 week old pup we felt well informed and prepared to care for him. Cooper is now 15 months old and a very healthy and happy member of our family. We recommend CF to anyone interested in a labradoodle.
So blessed to have found county Fair Labradoodles! In our search for our new addition to our family and our son’s first puppy Realized how overwhelming it was to pick a quality breeder and feel confident in our puppy choice. After visiting Nancy several times we knew where we were going to get our dog and any future dog. She cuts no corners in the quality of care and Genetic and disease testing to raise beautiful healthy premium Labradoodles. Her home puppy area always clean and Goes over and beyond for her families that are adopting a puppy.
It was most apparent the most important us the well being of each puppy. We have had our dogs for several years and they have never had any health issues plus they all were well on their way to bring potty trained. We received a goody bad with a handmade puppy blanking that Nancy makes for each family n puppy. So sweet!
It was a wonderful experience and she still provides support with whatever questions we have.
We have gotten additional puppies from County Fair and she will always be our first choice for a breeder.
Love County Fair! ❤️🐾
